Fall Harvest Tour

Celebrate the fall harvest season with us at the Creamery. We'll have pumpkins, hay rides, and a knock-your-sox-off show of fall foliage!

WHAT will your tour include?

On The Fall Harvest Tour, your actual tour (about 1-1/2 hours) will be divided into several stages. You will begin the visit via our Sheep Shoppe, where your guide will escort you into our educational viewing gallery. Your guide will discuss our cheese making process and our glassed-in viewing areas provide a real life peek into the world of sheep milking and old world cheese making.

In addition, you can also take a look into our state-of the-art barn with automatic feeding belts and the only rotating sheep parlor in the United States. Then, your students will board our Hay Wagons for a leisurely ride through our pastures to our cheese aging cave, reminiscent of the old-world aging cave found throughout Italy and France.

The students will tour our cave and hear how our cheeses are aged to perfection. After, they will return to the dairy aboard our wagons and enjoy the panoramic fall foliage show that only nature can provide. The children finish the tour in our Sheep Shoppe, where they have an opportunity to buy souvenirs from their visit to our dairy. The children will be given a treat to enjoy at the end of our tour.

WHEN are tours?
